An amazing scene in one of my top ten movies.
I’ve seen things you people wouldn’t believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched c-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhäuser Gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain. Time to die.
Jus and I saw her at the Montreux Jazz Festival on 7 July 2005. We’d gone to see Elvis Costello; I can’t remember if Justin had already heard her or not before that night, but for me she was a lovely surprise.
