This site is pinkasphalt.com in exile. I find myself unable to post on my main blog at this time, so I am hiding out here until I am ready to go home again.
I keep this space for a number of different reasons: to chronicle things I find interesting, to mark the passage of certain events, to express my opinion, and to have an excuse for endless hours spent tinkering with code and stylesheets. Especially that last part.

I am a reader of books, watcher of movies, taker of photographs, and mother of three.
Life is crazy but I try to take it all in and not let it overwhelm me. I have learned that life is precious and you can find beauty everywhere. I would hate to miss any of it because I wasn’t paying attention.
