Yesterday Lily walked in on me playing Guitar Hero, something she had never seen before. She sat down next to me and stared intently at the television, and finally pronounced: “I love this movie!”
She then turned and looked at me furiously strumming the guitar controller. “But what are you doing with that thing? Watch the movie!”
Michael Chabon, writing about Wes Anderson, said:

Obviously we can see what was in front of the camera, but if a photograph is honestly made, it’s a bit of a self-portrait. I think it’s impossible for a photographer who is working honestly to keep this from happening.
